Partnership Lead
🌍 A Bit About Us
We’re Doccla, and we’re redefining where and how healthcare is delivered.
Our Virtual Ward and Remote Monitoring Solutions enable hospitals and health systems to care for patients at home. We support patients across the full care journey from early discharge and acute recovery to long-term condition management and proactive care.
We provide everything clinicians need to deliver safe, effective Virtual Care: medical-grade devices, logistics, patient onboarding, EHR integration, and an end-to-end clinical platform built around real-world workflows.
We currently work with over 60% of NHS ICBs and supporting health systems across the including UK, Ireland, France, and the DACH region to reduce hospital pressure, improve outcomes, and create a more resilient model of care.
We’re backed by top European investors, having secured £35m in Series B funding led by Lakestar, with participation from Elaia, General Catalyst, Speedinvest, and Bertelsmann.
🚀 Why Join Us?
This is your chance to join Doccla at a key stage in our growth.
We’re building the category leader in Virtual Care and Remote Patient Monitoring. You’ll be part of a highly entrepreneurial, mission-driven team that combines expertise across clinical, technical, commercial, and operational domains.
We’re solving real problems for patients and health systems and growing fast.
🧑⚕️ What You’ll Do as a Partnerships Lead
Strategic Growth & Market Leadership
Act as the Senior Deal Architect for regional strategic growth, working with our senior leadership team as “Deal Sponsors” to orchestrate high-stakes opportunities across Acute Trusts, Community Trusts, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and GP Federations.
Navigate the "Political Economy" of the NHS: Map and influence the complex web of stakeholders (Clinical, Financial, and Operational) to build multi-threaded sponsorship that remains resilient through leadership churn and policy shifts.
Leverage the Doccla Ecosystem: High-level orchestration of our Strategic Advisors, Investors and Senior Leadership Team to create "top-to-top" alignment with NHS Board members.
Deal Construction & Value-Based Orchestration
Lead the "Value-Based" Narrative: Translate clinical outcomes into hard-dollar ROI. You will be responsible for shaping propositions where Doccla’s success is intrinsically linked to system savings and patient throughput.
Drive Complex "Deal Sprints": Own the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale tenders and direct awards. This includes aligning internal Product, Clinical, and Finance teams to ensure the deal is not just "winnable" but operationally and financially viable over a multi-year horizon.
Master Commercial Complexity: Shape the logic behind pricing models, gain-share mechanisms, and procurement routes (e.g., Frameworks vs. Bespoke Tenders) to ensure commercial clarity in the face of deferred payment milestones.
Stakeholder Mobilisation & Clinical Credibility
C-Suite Relationship Management: Maintain "trusted advisor" status with senior executives, moving beyond a vendor relationship to a strategic partnership.
High-Stakes Content & Communication: Produce Board-level business cases and investment proposals that stand out for their clinical depth, commercial rigor, and simplicity.
Mobilisation Transition: Ensure a seamless "handover of intent" from contract signature to operational launch, ensuring the value-based metrics agreed during the sale are embedded in the delivery roadmap.
✅ What Experience You’ll Bring to the Team
5+ years experience in NHS facing commercial roles (healthtech, medtech, consulting, or services), with a track record of owning and closing complex opportunities.
Demonstrable experience navigating NHS structures and buying dynamics, including ICB and multi provider decision making, procurement, IG, and clinical governance.
Existing senior relationships in the NHS, ideally across Northern systems, with evidence you can open doors and create momentum quickly.
Strong comfort with quantitative work: building clear analysis, financial cases, outcomes framing, and pricing models that stand up to scrutiny.
Experience working cross functionally to deliver ambiguous, high pace workstreams, not just selling a fixed product.
High productivity mindset, including confident use of modern tools and automation to move faster and operate at scale.
💡 What We’re Looking For
A senior operator with integrity, energy, and a bias to action who can create clarity and pace in complex environments.
Exceptional communicator who can shift between board level narrative and detailed working sessions with clinical and operational teams.
Commercial judgement and negotiation strength: you can hold the line on value while building trust and long term partnerships.
Comfortable being accountable for outcomes, not activity, and able to lead without heavy oversight.
Excited by a fast growing startup environment where iteration, learning, and ownership are expected
