🧑⚕️ What You’ll Do as a Training Manager
You will be responsible for driving training excellence, professional development, and learning culture across Doccla, with a strong focus on operations, enabling Doccla to scale smoothly.
This role ensures that every team member from onboarding to advanced development has access to the right learning tools, resources, and opportunities to thrive.
You’ll work particularly closely with heads of operational departments (Logistics, Customer Success, Clinical Systems, Clinical Operations, Patient Support) to define, document, and embed best practices leveraging tools (including AI) to build efficient SOPs and scalable learning content.
You’ll also partner with the People Team to strengthen our Learning Management System (Doccla Learn), enhance development planning with managers, and create clear pathways for upskilling and career progression.
We expect roughly 75% of your time to be spent on operational training and 25% working with the People team on company-wide initiatives.
✅ What Experience You’ll Bring to the Team
Learning & Development Strategy
Drive operational excellence by shadowing operational experts, identifying process gaps, and deploying best practices with the teams.
This includes documenting and standardising warehouse processes and workflows across support, clinical operations, customer success, patient support, clinical systems.
Create interactive, clear and concise training to ensure all teams are engaged with best practices
Lead internal webinars to highlight team focus areas and update colleagues on operational best practices.
Lead the evolution of Doccla Learn (Learning Management System) including course design, structure, and learner engagement.
Collaborate with the People Team to embed individual development plans (IDPs), build and maintain a competency framework to guide career progression across roles.
Onboarding & Training
Oversee and enhance the onboarding experience for new ops starters ensuring role clarity, engagement, and early confidence.
Partnering with team leads to design and deliver role-specific learning journeys.
Evaluate onboarding effectiveness and continuously refine materials for maximum impact.
Content Creation & Knowledge Management
Create and curate training materials, e-learning modules, and knowledge assets within Doccla Learn and Confluence.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate operational best practices into engaging digital learning.
Ensure content remains up-to-date and audit-ready, supporting compliance requirements (e.g., CQC). You will be designing frameworks to ensure learner development.
Manager Enablement & Continuous Development
Design and deliver leadership and management development initiatives.
Identify learning trends and recommend targeted programs (e.g., communication, customer care, data literacy).
Operational Excellence & Reporting
Analyse performance data to measure impact of your training initiatives
Use insights to guide continuous improvement and resource allocation.
Manage L&D projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
